In the coming years, assistance will focus on co-financing the reconstruction of four border crossing points in the framework of the Cross-Border Cooperation programme (two at the Polish, and one each at the Lithuanian and Latvian border), and several projects funded under the Eastern Partnership Integrated Border Management Flagship Initiative. It is worth mentioning that the SCC RB is Belarus' most active applicant of EC assistance provided through TAIEX (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange) programme, which funds study visits to institutions in the EU, seminars and workshops with participation of experts from the EU in Belarus as well as EU experts missions to Belarus to provide policy advice on specific questions upon request of an applying beneficiary institution.
