Writers in the Belarusian Literary Movement in Poland in 1958-1998 Barszczewski A. The book is dedicated to Belarusian poets and writers associated with the Belarusian Literary Movement in Poland from 1958 to 1998. Actually, the Belarusian Literary Movement in post-war Poland is a unique phenomenon. Representatives of the ethnic minority who were considered secondary people before proved their right to be equal. They proved that the ethnic group cannot be ignored. The book looks at developments from the historical perspective, tracing the development of Belarusian literature on the Polish territory. It includes biographies of writers who played a role in the development of Belarusian literature, those who formed the Belavezha association and worked to promote Belarusian culture across Poland. Uladzimir Paulyuchuk, Nadzeya Artymovich, Vasil Petruchuk are to name but few authors who proved with their excellent writing that the Belarusians are a first-class nation, and that representatives of the Belarusian minority are equal to Polish citizens.
