The main subject of the Warsaw East European Conference (15 - 18 July, 2007) are democratic and authoritarian tendencies in East Central, South Eastern and Eastern Europe since 18th century. The Conference is focused on history of 19th and 20th centuries as well as current political, social, economic, national and cultural issues. Special attention was given to the problems of the communist and post-communist world. Therefore, the Caucasus and Central Asian issues were also relevant for the WEEC, Fourth Annual Session.
