Mikhas Yuzhyk, well known in literary circles as a prose writer and a book reviewer, presents his poetry. His philosophical verses written in two styles reflect the author’s multifaceted personality. In the first part of the book entitled Rhymer the author expresses his thoughts in a metrical form with rhymes. Antirhymer features his philosophical reflections expressed in an experimental form with some marked by a stroke of genius. This is not his first book of poetry. However, compared to the first one it better reflects the author’s inner and outer personality without any embellishment. Antirhymer saw the light when Yuzhyk was in his middle age, when he could grasp both the past and the future. After the collection’s release, one may say that Mikhas Yuzhyk achieved success as a poet.
