Belarus’ City and Urbanization Process Historiography and Sources. A collection of research papers. Urbanization history is one of the areas of research that is still being developed. Belarusian historians from various research institutions have been studying history of Belarusian cities for the last few years. Hrodna State University is one of them. In 2009, it hosted an international conference on urbanization history. During the conference, researchers from Belarus, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine had an opportunity to share their findings in the area of urbanization history. The collection of research papers Belarus’ City and Urbanization Process Historiography and Sources was published as a result of that conference. (Z.K.)
