In 2010 the Union of Belarusian Writers and the Baćkaščyna World Association of Belarusians organized the publication of a literary newsletter Knihanoša aimed at informing the readers about new books published by the independent publishing houses. The need for such a 'book' newsletter has been voiced by the various publishers, authors and readers alike. It is well-known how difficult it is to learn about new books on time. There are a lot of publishers and editions, but there has been no comprehensive information source on the new arrivals published in Belarusian. Meanwhile, there are more and more literary works, academic and fiction alike, coming out in Belarus.
