Author: ANDRZEJ TICHOMIROW, M.A. in History (2000, Janka Kupala State University, Hrodna) and in EastCentral European and Post-Soviet Studies (2004, University of Warsaw), currently PhD candidate at Ludwik and Aleksander Birkenmajer Institute for the History of Science (Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw). His research interests include history of ideas in the 19th century, historical and contemporary national minorities in Belarus, and politics of memory. He is a recipient of the 2014 Annual Award for Best Academic Publication, established by the International Congress of Belarusian Studies.
