Piotr Mitzner urodził się 19 maja 1955 roku. W latach 1956-1997 mieszkał w Podkowie Leśnej. Debiutował jako ilustrator w Przyjacielu Młodego Spółdzielcy (1968), jako poeta w "Kurierze Polskim" (1972). Z wykształcenia teatrolog, autor scenariuszy teatralnych i tłumaczeń z języka rosyjskiego.
