A doctor from Navahrudak recalls her adventures, and one reads her memoirs as a thriller. The author’s life was full of surprises and adventures. She traveled to many countries and cities, was admitted to the courts of a Turkish sultan and Russian Empress Anna Ivanovna, was in contact with an Austrian emperor, the Duke Radzivils, Patotskis and Sanhushka. Her natural wisdom and courage helped her out of unbelievable and dangerous situations. History has seen many works created by several authors. One of them is Salameya Pilshtynava’s (Rusetskaya’s) memoirs, which have a long and Baroque-style colorful title Padadzenae svety rekha zanyatkau, padarozhzhau I zhyccya maiho avanturau na chests I hvaly Panu Bohu u Svyatoj Troitsy Adzinamu, i samoi svyatoi Matsi Khrysta, Pana maiho I usim svyatym. (The Echo of My Activities, Trips and Life Adventures Recounted to the World in the Honor and Praise of Sir God, One in Three, and the Holiest Mother of Christ, of My Lord and All Saints).
