External economic cooperation with foreign countries is regarded as one of the major preconditions of stabilization and further economic development. Today, the Republic of Belarus has established and continues to develop trade relations with more than 140 countries in the world. Close cooperation with countries of Europe, North America, Asia and Africa has allowed it to considerably increase its foreign trade. Today the production of Belarusan enterprises is also known in Latin America, Australia, New Zealand. Nevertheless, the presence of Belarus in the world market would have been more appreciable and weighty if our partners knew more about the potential of the republic. Besides a favorable geographical position in the center of Europe, Belarus has an advanced industrial and transport base, a diversified agroindustrial complex, a high scientific and technical potential and highly skilled labor, a reliable bank system, a market of financial and insurance services.
