The second updated edition of Reading for a Kindergarten saw the light 18 years after 70,000 copies of the first one were sold out in a matter of weeks. The book is an excellent aid for educating children both in a kindergarten and at home. It is designed for various age categories. Riddles, fairytales and translations of famous works of literature for children help raise kind and conscientious children proud of their language, culture and ancestors’ legacy. The book has not been formally included in pre-school curricula, but it is a fantastic aid for reading, learning poems and familiarizing children with traditions, clothes, professions, hygienic rules etc. (Z.K.)
